Andrew Ramsay - Chief Executive Officer

Andrew formed JAB fresh from University. He is a graduate of both Robert Gordon and Abertay Universities in Scotland. Andrew has driven the business from a graduate start up to a market leading global recruitment consultancy. JAB is formerly a PSYBT funded business and has picked up a number of awards during its early growth stage including BT e-commerce young entrepreneur of the year, Shell liveWIRE finalist & PSYBT young business of the year. Andrew\'s role is to ensure the international growth strategy is achieved by working closely with JAB\'s global management and recruitment teams. Andrew has an excellent knowledge of the energy industry globally and is also responsible for promoting the Industry Spotlight DVD series which is a trailblazing careers tool for the next generation of industry professionals.

Chris Black - Chief Operating Officer

Chris is an expert upstream recruiter with a resume that includes the successful completion of Global Executive Search Campaigns with some of the world's largest Operators and Service Companies. Chris has a global remit to drive-in Operational Excellence across all JAB's International Business. Chris is based in JAB's European Office and travels regularly to the Middle East and North America. Chris also has an International Growth remit enjoying co-responsibility with the firm's CEO to deliver on JAB's Global Development Strategy. Educated at Merchiston Castle School, Edinburgh and a graduate of Heriot-Watt University, Chris had a unique background prior to joining JAB. On graduation, Chris signed for Glasgow Warriors as a Professional Rugby Player spending three seasons with the Club competing in the European Heineken Cup. Chris now lives with his fiance Laura and their son Joshua in the famous golfing town of Carnoustie, Scotland. In his spare time Chris coaches his local rugby team and spends time with his new family.

Andrew Pert - Chairman

Andrew founded Search Consultancy Limited in 1987 and led the company as CEO to position it as the leading and largest independent recruitment solutions and support services group in Scotland and Northern England. Since the sale of Search in early 2000, Andrew has established, sold and invested in a number of partnerships, unquoted private companies, syndicated investment and venture capital organisations, and has taken a number of Advisory, Executive and Non-Executive Board roles therein. Andrew is a founder member of both the Entrepreneurial Exchange and "GlobalScot", has held key advisory and support roles for United Kingdom, National and Scottish Government employment initiatives and is Chairman of an educational not-for-profit organization (UK & Canada) and a Management Board Member of a major Scottish independent charity "Winning Scotland Foundation".
