The company provides mechanical, pipeline, piping, facility and pump station fabrication and construction services for the heavy industrial sector. Located in Edmonton, they partner with respected Upstream and Midstream Owners where they act a construction management contractor. These projects are spread across Western Canada.
The job opportunity for Senior Estimator will sit within their head office and report directly to the VP of Operations. You will take overall responsibility of the bid process from inception to project completion and hand over. This includes client negotiations and relationship building, managing RFI’s & RFP’s, site meetings, support of your team members and management reviews.
You will have support from the senior management group where they promote an “Open Door” environment. The expected education required for this career opportunity include industrial, mechanical, steamfitting or piping designation such as a degree or trade background. It is absolutely vital for you to have extensive estimating success relating to mechanical, piping, modular and facility installations for the resources and energy industry. This includes the ability to provide detailed quantities, take offs and individual estimates for ALL aspects of the estimate.
