They are seeking committed, high quality, scientists and engineers to join our firm and share in our success, within a variety of technical roles throughout the company.

Our Client has an opportunity for a senior practitioner in Houston to support this core area of our practice. The position is ideal for an individual who is experienced in many aspects of substructure, topsides and floating system structural integrity management.

The Opportunity:
The successful applicant will be involved in the structural integrity management (as well as new design) of jacket and topside structures, and floating/subsea systems, under in-place and extreme loads. This work will involve business development, personnel development, model building and maintenance, analysis and code compliance checking, analysis for ship impact and extreme environment, support to design modifications, development of inspection plans, implementation of on-line monitoring systems, and the overall structural integrity management. Knowledge of fire and explosion assessment of topsides structures would also be attractive.

The successful applicant could become involved in projects related to oil, gas, LNG, and petrochemicals located both onshore and offshore, and in a diverse range of locations. Much of our work is in support of safety studies or engineering development and covers the spectrum of project phases, from concept development to detailed design.

Less experienced applicants would augment our existing activities, whilst the present opportunity exists for an experienced person to take on overall management responsibilities and grow this business area.

Background/Experience Requirements:
Preferred candidates will have an advanced-level degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering or science discipline and a minimum of 15 years of applicable oil and gas industry experience. Our professionals are drawn from a variety of backgrounds, including academia, research, vendors, design, consulting, regulatory, and operations. The successful applicant should have a background in offshore structures.
