Oil and Gas Sales Manager Job Specification
Based in Houston, Texas, USA
Reporting to the Sector Head – O&G, the key duties of this role:
Understand sales sectors – key drivers, potential customers and competitors
Prepare and execute a sector strategy and account plans
Identify leads, make contact with them and provide information on CHI services
Qualify leads and develop a sales pipeline
Prepare and plan sales trips to existing and potential customers for new projects
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and meetings
Attend conferences/trade shows and demonstrations, prepare in advance as required
Understand customer’s problems and provide tailored solutions
Prepare quotations to send to customers
Maintain the CRM up to date at all times
Cash management: travel sign off/ expenses sign off, etc
Leverage customer references
Liaise with operations for all jobs
Must have a background in selling high value, complex engineering, and/or inspection services to the Oil and Gas onshore and/or offshore industries in Texas and the Gulf of Mexico.
Established contacts and experience of selling to the Oil & Gas sector in Texas and the Gulf of Mexico
Proven sales skills with a track record of achievement against financial targets that measure the quality of revenues
Self-contained and self-motivated; able to thrive in a fast moving, dynamic company environment.
Team player; able to work effectively with our clients leadership team, customers and partners.
Must be enthusiastic and possess advanced verbal and written communication skills.
Engineering based degree or similar.
Track record of selling innovative new technology.
Expect occasional trips outside Texas.
