Job Details

"The role encompasses deployment of Contract Management activities for London hub, covering various offshore EPCI, T&I, FEED and other projects.

The candidate shall:
• Administer contracts in execution in accordance with best practise and company procedures
• Prepare tracking and reporting to ensure that the commercial and contractual requirements of contracts are met, including timely notices and correspondence
• Draft all contractual and commercial correspondence;
• Advise Company and Corporate Management on the main contractual risks, identifying and proposing contractual mitigation actions;
• Participate in meetings (with internal clients, external clients, and subcontractors), negotiating terms, preparing summaries and/or Minutes of Meeting;
• Negotiate the contractual instruments with the counterparties in the best interests of the Company and in accordance with Company risk policies;
• Support the Project Management teams in the determination and management of claims, in the preparation and evaluation of variation order requests, and in the drafting of key project correspondence towards clients, major subcontractors and/or other interfacing third parties;
• Support the Procurement function in the review and management of subcontracts and purchase orders;
• Have knowledge of the industry standard contracts (FIDIC, LOGIC, BIMCO, IOCs’ etc.);
• Assist in the resolution of legal and contractual matters, in coordination with the relevant Corporate functions.
• Regularly report to the Company and Corporate Management on the Contract Management activities.

Essential Skills
• Knowledge and experience of English Law;
• Have knowledge of the industry standard contracts (FIDIC, LOGIC, BIMCO, IOCs’ etc.);
• Proven experience of reviewing and advising on tendering contracts and of administrating project contracts and effective negotiation skills are essential;
• Proven experience negotiating and executing offshore construction contracts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, listening and influencing;
• Strong commercial awareness;
• Ability to work under time pressure to meet deadlines;
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills;
• Leadership skills;
• Team player attitude;
• International mobility both for short missions and potentially for long-term assignments."
