Overview:
A JAB Recruitment client is seeking a Facilities Custodian to maintain a safe and clean work environment in the areas assigned while maintaining all Quality and Safety measures.
Main duties & responsibilities:
- Complete all daily assignments in a timely and efficient manner
- Keep hallways, bathrooms, break areas, offices etc. clean at all times.
- Keep grounds clear of trash and debris
- Report unsafe conditions to the appropriate Supervisor
- Wear appropriate PPE when in required areas
- Comply with all Company policies, guidelines and procedures
- Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
- Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
- Perform and assist with other duties as assigned
Experience requirement:
- Three years of verifiable work experience.
- Previous experience in Janitorial services.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment including vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping
- Utilize appropriate safety equipment
- Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required
Job requirements:
- Standing up to 12 hours daily
- Walking up to 12 hours daily
- Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
- Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
- Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly
- Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
