Overview:
A JAB Recruitment client is seeking a Facilities Custodian to maintain a safe and clean work environment in the areas assigned while maintaining all Quality and Safety measures.

Main duties & responsibilities:

• Complete all daily assignments in a timely and efficient manner
• Keep hallways, bathrooms, break areas, offices etc. clean at all times.
• Keep grounds clear of trash and debris
• Report unsafe conditions to the appropriate Supervisor
• Wear appropriate PPE when in required areas
• Comply with all Company policies, guidelines and procedures
• Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
• Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
• Perform and assist with other duties as assigned

Experience requirement:

• Three years of verifiable work experience.
• Previous experience in Janitorial services.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment including vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping
• Utilize appropriate safety equipment
• Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required

Job requirements:

• Standing up to 12 hours daily
• Walking up to 12 hours daily
• Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
• Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
• Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly
• Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
