Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Engineer to join our team in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for on-site engineering support, ensuring that projects are executed smoothly, safely, and in compliance with all technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide on-site engineering support for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of oil and gas infrastructure.
Conduct site assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, safety standards, and industry regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during project execution.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other engineers to ensure timely project completion.
Maintain accurate field documentation, including reports, drawings, and test results.
Provide technical guidance to field crews and ensure proper equipment use.
Support and perform quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of safety and performance are met.
Assist in the development of operational procedures and ensure they are followed on-site.
Report any project risks or issues to management promptly.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field).
Proven experience as a Field Engineer in the oil and gas industry.
Strong knowledge of oil and gas operations, equipment, and safety regulations.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and documents.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in remote or offshore locations as required.
Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certification (e.g., PMP, Project Engineer certification).
Experience with field instrumentation, equipment installation, and testing.
Proficiency with engineering software and tools.
