Job Title: Payroll Supervisor/Manager

Hybrid Role – M/T/Th in office, W/F WFH
Overview:
- Manages payroll processes
- Ensures proper management of all contractual, fiscal, insurance and social security formalities relating to personnel management (whether payroll or non-payroll) with the support of his/her own team and selected IT tools
- Position is a contract role for 6 months
- Hybrid Schedule
- Manage complex systems : Payroll + Income Tax + Social Security + Benefits/Perquisites Management; Regional scope
- Population scope: 3500 people
- International payroll team - US, Canada and Mexico
- Payroll processing regions - US, Canada, Mexico, Colombia and Guyana.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Manages the Administration of Payroll
- Takes part in industrial relations meetings for aspects relating to own scope of activities
- Partners to design and implements local/ regional policies in alignment with Company pay policies, both collective and individual
- Ensures prompt and proper payment of salaries or fees, contributions and taxes relating to personnel
- Responsible for relations with tax authorities related to federal, state, and local tax notices, audits, etc.
- Provides opinions on pay, contributions and fiscal aspects to the Company and personnel
- Critically review and analyze current payroll, benefits and tax procedures to recommend and help implement changes leading to best-practice operations (especially new countries absorbed into Shared Services model)
- Ensure the various systems are set-up and updated to reflect current employee base (wages, benefits, sick and vacation time) is in line with contracts (union and non-union) and in compliance with local and group standards
- Communicate actively with Business lines, HR C&B and Finance departments to review cross-departmental impacts and reconcile data sharing
- Responsible for the proper execution of all activities relating to the personnel administration section and Company and contractual pay policies and regulations
- Responsible for data integrity in Payroll systems
- Participate in payroll or time system implementation projects.
- Actual payroll processing responsibilities during team member vacations, balance workload during high activity periods.
Minimum requirements:
5 years of working experience in HR
Excellent communication skills
Planning and organizational skills
Fluent in English
Education:
• Bachelor's degree
