Job Title: Project Controls Planner
Telework Type: Part-Time Telework
Work Location: Assigned office location, with at least four days per week in-person. Weekly in-office schedules will be determined by the employee and supervisor, in consultation with project or functional leadership.
The Project Controls Planner will support the development, maintenance, and analysis of project schedules for the Corpus Christi Liquefaction Stage 3 Program. Responsibilities include engineering and procurement schedule planning, integration of discipline-specific schedules into the master project schedule, progress reporting, and support for performance tracking systems.
Primarily focused on Engineering and Procurement planning activities.
Collect, verify, and integrate work scopes across disciplines into the overall project schedule.
Review project scope representation and develop conceptual studies and comparative analyses.
Analyze construction productivity and verify against project metrics.
Establish and manage project milestones.
Maintain scope definition data and support the development of engineering and procurement performance systems (EPPR, PVS, SCVS).
Regularly update the schedule with input from engineering and procurement departments.
Recommend changes to activity durations or logic to maintain project timeline.
Review schedule logic and durations for adequacy and completeness.
Supervise resource loading and leveling across disciplines.
Develop and integrate commodity release and manpower curves.
Identify and resolve schedule constraints and cross-functional issues.
Monitor and report on critical path activities and overall schedule performance.
Conduct schedule analysis and propose alternatives for performance improvement.
Prepare and issue required schedule-related reports to company leadership.
Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) with 5–8 years of relevant experience, or 9–12 years of applicable work experience.
Strong experience in planning and scheduling on EPC projects, including development, control, and analysis.
Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present schedule information to both management and clients.
Experience performing scheduling tasks both in field and office environments.
Proficiency in Primavera and Microsoft Office Suite.
Understanding of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup processes.
Familiarity with integrated project controls systems and reporting.
Ability to analyze complex scheduling problems and recommend practical solutions.
